With so many swimming pools in the Algarve, We decided to take our baby swimming underwater lessons, with WATERBABIES, Yvonne Fisher FISTC ASTA, to teach her how to turn back to the side of the pool if she fell in. | @haven1095 . Thank you for your comment. The point is that we live with so many swimming pools, at an early age a child learns by instinct, how if they fell into the water, not to panic, turn and swin to the side of the pool and hold on. |

| My Olivia is too scared of water, and I wish that I would've started her early like this!! I don't think you're crazy for doing this.. A lot of people don't know that if you put a newborn in water, they will naturally swim.. I wish I had done this earlier!! (she is 1 1/2 now) |

| Thank you for sharing, I do not have kids of my own. As an aunt to a small fry - both your video and your comments back to folks helped me realize that it is mostly scary for the adults (natural for the small fry) as well as re-confirm (so-to-speak) how important it is (IMHO) for the little ones to be comfortable & confident in the water. Especially if they are around things like pool, lake, etc. |
